HATHA YOGA
Our most popular class! Hatha Yoga teaches yogic foundations and emphasizes perfection in alignment. Release stress, and enjoy in this yoga class, excellent for BEGINNERS, with variations for more advanced students. Similar to Iyengar yoga in style, you'll learn breathing techniques to relax & renew you. Restorative postures are included in each class. In Hatha Ygoa we focus on specific areas such as the low-back, shoulders or hips.

GENTLE YOGA
This one hour class moves slowly for beginners and students with special needs. This is an easy class, relaxing and sweet. We focus on a particular are of the body in our 1 hour Gentle classes, and our Sunday Gentle class is taught in the Vinny Yoga style. Some standing postures and floor work are explored.

RESTORATIVE/YIN YOGA
With a slow pace which allows us to go deeper inside of ourselves, this hour long class focuses on deep relaxation. Using props to support the body, gentle slow floor stretches will gently lengthen your muscles and soothe your mind. This is the perfect evening class for Aloha Friday!

POWER FLOW YOGA
Power Flow Yoga is a stong yoga class that both intermediate and advanced students will enjoy. Beginners are welcome to come in and do their best, but we encourage you to learn proer alignment and modifications in our Hatha Yoga classes. Power Flow Yoga will make you sweat. We play great music, with sequencing that will open all parts of your body. Beginners and advanced students practice side by side. Abdominal strengthening exercises decrease back pain, and improve your game in every sport. These FLOW/Vinyasa (movement with breath) classes offer you a place to build physical stamina and increase both your emotional balance and mental focus.   Inversions such as headstand, forearm balance, handstand and shoulder-stand are offered in every class.    Arm balances are also explored. Modifications are always if you?re not ready for advanced postures.

TRIBAL BELLYDANCE
American Tribal Style (ATS) bellydance is a fusion of dances, costuming and music from along the Romani Trail, also referred to as the Silk Road.

Developed by chance in San Francisco by Carolena Nericcio and her dancers, the defining concept of ATS is it's synchronized group improvisational choreography. The dancers share a common vocabulary of movements and use a cueing system to communicate with each other, creating the succession of steps live and on the spot without the use of choreography. Other key ingredients include trust, sisterhood, and group awareness. Being in the moment with the music and each other is another vital component to ATS.

This dance form is empowering and earthy, yet sensual and feminine. It never objectifies the dancer, rather, it celebrates her and her sisters as unique, divine and beautiful. ATS allows dancers the freedom to express themselves through movement without the confines of a choreography. Dancers schooled in this form of dance are able to execute a synchronized group performance at the drop of a hat, both to music they've never heard before, and also with ATS dancers they have never met!

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS
Private sessions are available both here at the studio or at your home. Privates are beneficial for preganancy, injury rehabilitation, & students wanting to take your practice to the next level.
Emphasis is placed alignment, breath, and to developing a pracitice you can do on your own.

New students benefit from private sessions & enjoy the one on one attention that focuses 100% on you.

Cost for a session at Maui Lotus is $85 /1 hour session, or $75/1 hour for 3 or more sessions. 1 hour class at your location is $150.
